*RPN with full Scientific functions including hyperbolics.
*4 level stack, replicating T register, calcs with 12 (not 10) significant digits.
*Assembled in Japan with American electronics around 1975-1976
*Serial Number 7035539S
*Uses the same great Texan Mostek ROM as the Corvus, Omron, G.E., APF, etc.
*Soft but serviceable keyboard and that cool vacuum fluorescent screen is greener than an Orion girl on Star Trek.
*This calculator has what is maybe the most bomb-proof battery compartment there is. The four regular AA cells are contained in a separate latched and removable tray so that any leakage needs to pass through two pieces of plastic or snake around two sets of edges and into one of three very small holes to get to the PCB. That ain't gonna happen.
*There is some info on Mostek and the chipset for this unit at http://www.datamath.org/Mostek_IC.htm
*Calculator Forensics result = 8.99996134 --- That's 100 times closer than HPs of it's day |
